Hey there y’all, I’m Shawn. Thanks for stopping by~ Some quick facts for ya:
I’m on the other side of 30 (but not hating it so far).
I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Organizational Communication.
I’m now several years deep into my new career as an English teacher in South Korea, and before this, I was a college admissions counselor in the States.

So why did I start a blog? Well, I love to read and would like to write a novel one day, so I created this blog to practice in the meantime, which I explain a bit more about in my first post. What I’m writing about will vary, but will most often include posts about society, relationships, social media, and technology, as well as my life and journey thus far.

When I’m not working, reading, or writing, you’ll find me either out running, hiking, working out, and kayaking, at home Netflixing and video gaming it up, or watching/playing sports. And usually, I’ll be listening to music while doing all of that. Most likely some Childish Gambino, among others. He’s one of my biggest motivators, especially when it comes to writing, which is why I use lyrics from his songs for the titles of all my posts. I also love to travel. I received a scratch-off world map as a gift and I want to scratch off as many states and countries as I can.
